WHITLEY BAY KENNELS & CATTERY TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. 1. While pets boarded at WHITLEY BAY KENNELS & CATTERY receive every care and attention, they are boarded entirely at the risk of the owner, and the management can accept NO liability. Should any dog or cat fall ill while being boarded, the management reserve the right to call in a Veterinary Surgeon and act on their advice, unless alternative instructions have been provided in writing by the owner. Any expenses incurred are to be met by the owner of the pet.
  2. In the interest of other boarders, no pet suffering from any infectious or contagious disease, or any pet which appears to be ill in any way, can be accepted as a boarder.
  3. A deposit is required within 7 days of making a booking. If no deposit is received, the booking will be cancelled. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. In the event that a pet is collected before the end of the period booked, we reserve the right to charge for the whole period booked. If a booking is cancelled within 2 weeks of entry date a cancellation fee will be charged.
  4. No pet may be removed until the full amount due for board has been paid.
  5. The management reserve the right to increase boarding charges without prior notice.
  6. All pets must be fully vaccinated within 12 months of entry date (all dogs must also be KENNEL COUGH vaccinated within 12 months of entry date). Please consult your vet about all treatments. PROOF OF ALL VACCINATIONS MUST BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO ENTRY. ANY PET THAT DOES NOT MEET OUR VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY.
  7. All pets should be flea treated immediately prior to entry. The management reserve the right to administer both flea and worming treatments should we believe it necessary (a charge of £5 will be incurred for said treatment to be met by the owner).
  8. Owners with more than one pet, who wish them to share accommodation, hereby give permission by signing this agreement.
  9. The management reserve the right to move any dog(s) into a larger kennel than booked by the owner, should we believe that it is in the best interest of the dog(s). The owner will be charged the rate of the larger kennel from the first day the dog(s) occupy the larger kennel.
